The Salomon Outline GTX is your perfect cross over from a general trainer to a hiking shoe. This shoe is made for everyday adventures, it's made for travel, made for walking to the climbing crag, walking the dog in the park, walking that local day hike. If you're after just a general waterproof shoe that's as comfortable as your running shoes but a step up as far as grip, support and durability then the Salmon Outline GTX is the one. It also doesn't look too out of place in the hotel lobby, cafe or the airport too.
