Pricing Policy
Trek & Travel aims to stock the very best selection of outdoor goods at the best price we can. Pricing shown is subject to change without notice. In accordance with the Trade Practices Act 1974 we reserve the right to withdraw items from sale, providing a full refund to our customers if necessary.
Due to security issues, we regret that we are unable to accept international credit cards in our store or on our website. Credit cards used must be accompanied by an Australian billing address. Any international credit card used online will not be charged and if we cannot get alternative payment details the order will have to be cancelled.
Shipping Information
We offer free shipping within Australia for purchases totalling over $99. For orders under $99 shipping & handling incurs a flat rate fee of $15. Express postage, offered at checkout, is $10 extra to the standard applicable rate.
Your purchases will be sent via Australia Post using eParcel. Delivery times can vary, so please allow 7-10 working days for delivery to metropolitan areas.
We do not currently ship internationally.
Returns & Exchanges
At Trek & Travel we sell the very best brands and we want you to be happy with your purchase. If your new purchase does not fit or you don't like the colour, you are welcome to send it back for an exchange or refund as long as the item complies with our policy.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:
RETURN PERIOD
- You have 14 days from the date of delivery or in-store purchase to return or exchange your item. To qualify, the return must be shipped via Australia Post by the 14th day at the latest.
ITEM CONDITION
- All items must be returned in their original, unworn condition, including tags, boxes, casing, and any other original packaging.
- For footwear returns, please ensure the original shoe boxes are returned undamaged. We kindly ask that you avoid taping or marking the shoe box to prevent damage during transit
EXCLUSIONS
- Please note, we cannot accept returns on clearance items, undergarments, personal hygiene products, or consumables
FREE RETURN LABEL
- Trek & Travel will provide you with one free return label via email. Please print it out and affix it securely to the outside of the return package
- Drop your package off at any Australia Post store
REFUND PROCESS
- Once we receive your return, please allow up to 3 business days for our staff to process your refund
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account
IN-STORE RETURNS
- If you prefer, you can also return your order directly to our store during business hours
Gift Vouchers
Trek & Travel gift vouchers are valid 3 years from date of purchase. Promotional vouchers issued as prizes are valid 6 months from date of issue. They are not considered transferable, so if misplaced they will not be reissued and are not redeemable for cash.
Layby
We are happy to accept laybys at Trek & Travel. By paying a deposit, you enter into a layby agreement with Trek & Travel with the following terms & conditions:
- We require an initial deposit equal to 10% of the total cost of the goods or greater. This will serve as your first layby payment
- Your layby must be paid off within three (3) months of the initial deposit. You may take as many payments as you like withing this three month period, however you must make at least one (1) payment per month
- A $50 service fee will be charged if you cancel your layby. Anything you have paid on your layby account up to that point will be refunded, excepting the service fee
- By accepting a deposit on your chosen item, we agree to sell it to you at the price at which it is listed at that time. Your total cost will neither increase if the store price subsequently increases nor decrease if the item is subsequently listed on sale
Arc'teryx Restrictions on Commercial Quantity Purchases
To ensure that the majority of purchases made are for the end user, we will be actively restricting with suspected intent of on-selling or reselling goods, in accordance with the official Arc'teryx on-selling policy. The reason behind this is to ensure that the purchase of commercial quantities in core items do not erode the availability and store experience of our intended guests. This policy applies to all current and future Amer owned Arc’teryx stores both physical and digital. This policy only applies to those who are suspected on-sellers, if the customer is clearly buying for themselves, we may use discretion to increase the quantities as appropriate. Restrictions apply to purchases made by person(s), household, group, credit card or other forms of payment.
The restrictions on a per person, per calendar month, basis are:
- Five total items
- Two items of any model. Model is exclusive of gender and inclusive of colour. For example, a customer or group can purchase two women’s Atom Hoodys and two men’s Atom Hoodys but cannot purchase two men’s Atom Hoodys in black and two men’s Atom Hoodys in another colour
- Any other repeat purchase patterns which may represent more than normal personal use
