Description

Have Aquaprove created the best water purification kit ever? We think they might have. This little packet will purify 250 litres of water!  What's more, each dose is ready in only 5 minutes! Simply prepare the solution beforehand by dropping the Aquaprove tablet into the included bottle with some water, shake gently and 10 minutes later your solution is ready. After that, add 4 drops per litre of dirty water and wait 5 mins. Hey Presto - drinkable!

Chlorine free, the taste is negligible, and the price unbeatable. Weight - barely there. Size - virtually invisible. Effective against all harmful parasites and pathogens including e.coli, salmonella, giardia, staphylococcus and Listeria. Active ingredient: chlorine dioxide.

Free Australia-wide standard shipping with Australia Post on orders over $99! A $15 flat rate applies for orders under $99. If you're in a hurry, pop into our store for our free Click & Collect option, or choose Express Post for an additional $10.

We try to dispatch orders on the day we receive them, but allow for 1-2 business days just in case.

For Christmas deliveries to metro areas, the recommended shipping cut-off is 19 December, with earlier dates for WA (18 December) and NT (16 December). If you're sending to a non-metro or remote area, we recommend allowing a little extra time.

  • How many litres will one tab treat? How many tabs in the kit? Can you make up enough solution to treat 6 litres in one go? Will the solution keep overnight/ a few days?

    There is 1 tab included in the pack. 1 tab will purify up to 250L of water.

    Included in the pack is the 1 tab, a small dropper bottle and all the insutruction.

    You fill the dropper bottle with water, add the tab and allow the tab to desolve over 10-15mins. After this time you gently shake the bottle to ensure your solution is properly mixed. Now you have your solution. Four drops of the solution will treat 1L of water. Allow 5 mins for this to take effect.

    Yes you can treat 6L in one go. Simply apply 24 drops (6x4) to your water and give it a good slosh around with plenty of time for the solution to take effect. 

    They recommend the solution is best used with 40days of preparing the solution

  • Is it possible to purchase the tablets only? For example to carry as extras/spare rather than always buying multiple kits. I don't need a new bottle each time.

    Good question! Aquaprove only comes in this form with the bottle.

  • Can the left over solution be frozen and then thawed the next time I go hiking? Makes up a lot of solution that I have had to throw away in the past - very wasteful.

    Thanks for your question.  We would say' no' as the effectiveness of some water purification drops are rendered useless when the water it has been added to is frozen.
