Ultralon
Closed cell foam mattresses may seem a bit old-school but the principles still hold firm: they are very light, strap neatly onto the top of your pack, insulate well and, best of all, they cannot puncture! If you've ever had an inflatable air mat deflate in the field you'll know how frustrating that can be. Plus, the trusty Ultralon can be cut up and used as a splint, seat and myriad other useful items. Think about it.
