The Opinel Stainless Steel #8 and #6 Pocket Knife in Oak is the iconic adventure knife! Incredibly light, ergonomically designed and durable, this knife is a perfect companion for everyone including the lightweight hiker, the devoted picnicer and the fearless adventurer. First crafted in 1890 and still currently made in the Haute Savoie region of France. This knife features a gorgeous walnut wood handle, sourced locally from sustainably managed forests in the Jura region. Opinel’s efficient yet elegant Virobloc® locking system twists to lock the blade in either the open or closed position. The Sandvik 12C7 stainless steel Yatagan blade requires no special care and will not rust or tarnish, and a carbon content of 0.4% adds to its sharpness.

Free Australia-wide standard shipping with Australia Post on orders over $99! A $15 flat rate applies for orders under $99. If you're in a hurry, pop into our store for our free Click & Collect option, or choose Express Post for an additional $10.

We try to dispatch orders on the day we receive them, but allow for 1-2 business days just in case.

For Christmas deliveries to metro areas, the recommended shipping cut-off is 19 December, with earlier dates for WA (18 December) and NT (16 December). If you're sending to a non-metro or remote area, we recommend allowing a little extra time.
