Carry this ultralight survival shelter from UK stalwarts Lifesystems and drastically improve your chances of survival. In case of emergency, wrap your body and head in the metalised polyester which will protect you from rain, wind and body heat loss with its taped seams and reflective surface. The bright colour and radar-reflective material will help rescue services locate your still-breathing body. It's reusable should you ever make the same mistake twice, and comes in a handy ripstop storage sack.
NB: This shelter is for emergencies only and is not designed as a regular go-to shelter.
