Outdoor Research's Apollo Stretch Jacket is designed for those in need a of durable, waterproof jacket that doesn't break the bank. You might not want to need them, but you do for any serious hiking. The stretch fabric makes the jacket super comfortable even for long days out on the trail and the pit zips provide great ventilation, while the Ventia waterproof-breathable membrane takes care of the technical side. A great introductory waterproof jacket.
