Bivybag VentAir - PU

Price
$419.99
Description

The Exped Bivybag VentAir - PU features the extremely breathable VentAir fabric making this useful for a variety of applications. The more generous dimensions of this Exped bivy also mean most people can fit a full hiking pack in the bag as well. With a durable floor, bug mesh at the opening and a weather tight entry, the Bivybag VentAir - PU will give you room to move.

The benefit of this fabric over some of the other breathable membranes that get used in bivybags is that it tends to breath better at lower altitudes with more humidity. This makes this bivy a good choice for bushwalkers as well as alpine climbers.

    Testimonials

"I spent close to 3 hours in this store today, being fitted for and choosing a pack, and the staff are fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly - and I think I'm probably a fussy customer and I have difficulty finding packs that fit comfortably. Has to be my best experience in this kind of store to date."

"My favourite outdoor shop in Sydney. This is where you go if you want to see gear stocked because of it's quality, not just because it's corporate overload has pumped out another 10,000 puffer jackets that need to be moved before next season. Knowledgeable staff that actually partake in trekking and travelling themselves. Definitely worth dropping in!"
    Tom Brickhill - 5★

"Always friendly, helpful staff with great knowledge. Great range of good quality products (nothing really low end) including Australian/NZ brands e.g. Wilderness Equipment, One Planet and Aarn. Never had a fuss with exchanging unused gear within the 2 week period."

    • Hello Can you advise what is the entry into the bivi please. Description says weather tight just wondering what that means..... thanks

Entry Is from the top, by the head area. You have a 2 zip system (1 for insect mesh and another for zipping it shut). On the outside of that you have a velcro seal that you can adjust to accommodate ventilation.
Using all 3 will give you a weather tight seal.
