Description

Sea to Summit may have the best range of sleeping bags north of Invercargill, but top-of-the-range goose down is getting pretty expensive. Hence, the Women's Journey series - their economy range of bags. Now anyone can own a Sea to Summit sleeping bag. And the Journey is no thrown-together entry-level effort either - it's as well-designed as the rest of the range.

The Journey II has an EN13537 temperature comfort range of -8°C to -15°C. The shell boasts a differential cut so that down lofts around the body through the excess fabric; vertical chest baffles prevent down rolling off the chest when horizontal; it is also treated with super-strong DWR - watch the water roll off it; add in two, 2-way #5 YKK zips, anti-snag 3D draft tube, internal pocket - it's a beast. The Journey is designed to open out into a quilt or couple with other Sea to Summit sleeping bags with opposite side zips to make a cosy double bed. Comes with an internal valuables pocket, compression sack and storage cell.

For sizing: the Regular fits users under170cm and the Long fits user up to 183cm. This women's specific cut is wider at the hip and narrower at the shoulder, and has extra Thermolite ® panels in the footbox for added warmth. Amanda Warriner - 5★ "I spent close to 3 hours in this store today, being fitted for and choosing a pack, and the staff are fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly - and I think I'm probably a fussy customer and I have difficulty finding packs that fit comfortably. Has to be my best experience in this kind of store to date."

Tom Brickhill - 5★ "My favourite outdoor shop in Sydney. This is where you go if you want to see gear stocked because of it's quality, not just because it's corporate overload has pumped out another 10,000 puffer jackets that need to be moved before next season. Knowledgeable staff that actually partake in trekking and travelling themselves. Definitely worth dropping in!"

Adam Jude Baus - 5★ "Always friendly, helpful staff with great knowledge. Great range of good quality products (nothing really low end) including Australian/NZ brands e.g. Wilderness Equipment, One Planet and Aarn. Never had a fuss with exchanging unused gear within the 2 week period."
