Is the 636g weight for one boot only, not the pair?
Correct, that weight is per boot.
How does this boot compare to teh Vasque Breeze III and the Scarpa Mythos?
The Eriksson is a sturdier boot than the Breeze. It offers greater ankle and lateral support and more durability, but it is heavier. The Breeze is also more breathable in hot weather due to its mesh upper. The Eriksson is quite similar to the Mythos in terms of strength and support, but the fit may be slightly wider. I hope this helps.
Would this boot be suitabel for the Larapinta trail? Is the sole sturdy enough for comfort on stones?
In terms of durability and ankle support the Eriksson would be a great boot for the Larapinta. The sole is tough Vibram rubber which would stand up to the rigours of Razorback Ridge, so in order to achieve more comfort on the trail I'd suggest wearing them in a bit to soften the midsole.
