QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hi, I’m looking for some advice as to the best double sleeping mat that is light enough and sufficiently compact when packed to be carried on a multi day hike? Would the exped synmat duo be appropriate? Are there any other options you would suggest? Thanks very much for your help. Chris
The Synmat HL Duo is PERFECT for a multiday hike.
It packs smaller and lighter that two lightweight hiking mats combined and is just as comfortable! In fact we'd say even more comfortable that two separate mats because there's no risk of sliding in the abyss between the mats (great if you've got a kiddo between you too). The only down side of a double mat is that if one person wants to sleep out under the stars you can't separate them. :)
