Description

The One Planet Sac sleeping bag series is designed for general camping and travelling use in multiple seasons. The synthetic insulation is an efficient combination of synthetic fibres that insulate and maintain warmth with ease. Three layers of insulation are composed of Thermolink fibre, a woven fibre mid-layer and an outer thermal barrier. All this is encased in 20D Vapour Vent fabric, which is a highly breathable and durable material that draws moisture away from the body. The tapered rectangular shape mirrors the body and allows great comfort with room to move. Fully unzip it when the weather warms up. Take advantage of synthetic over down - even if you get it wet, it will still keep you warm. The Sac -8 is the warmest synthetic sleeping bag that One Planet makes and is suited best for winter camping or for someone who is a cold sleeper.

Amanda Warriner - 5★ "I spent close to 3 hours in this store today, being fitted for and choosing a pack, and the staff are fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly - and I think I'm probably a fussy customer and I have difficulty finding packs that fit comfortably. Has to be my best experience in this kind of store to date."

Tom Brickhill - 5★ "My favourite outdoor shop in Sydney. This is where you go if you want to see gear stocked because of it's quality, not just because it's corporate overload has pumped out another 10,000 puffer jackets that need to be moved before next season. Knowledgeable staff that actually partake in trekking and travelling themselves. Definitely worth dropping in!"

Adam Jude Baus - 5★ "Always friendly, helpful staff with great knowledge. Great range of good quality products (nothing really low end) including Australian/NZ brands e.g. Wilderness Equipment, One Planet and Aarn. Never had a fuss with exchanging unused gear within the 2 week period."

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • Would this suit a woman in temperatures down to -5 degrees Celsius?

    Hi Gemma,

Apologies for the delay in replying. I hope this information may still be of some use. In short, it is very hard to say whether a listed temperature limit will be suitable for a particular person as there are so many other variables involved e.g. body weight, sleeping mat, tent etc. Most people will know if they are a hot or a cold sleeper. If you are the latter, you should be looking at a bag that is a few degrees warmer than the lowest temperature you are expecting, such as this one, or use a thermal liner.
