Garmin's new eTrex range is here! Using both GPS and GLONASS satellites, it can connect to 24 more satellites and lock on up to 20% faster than GPS alone. This, combined with an EGNOS-enabled GPS receiver and HotFix® satellite prediction, provides the user with greater accuracy at a faster rate. The eTrex series can even give an accurate reading in canyons, in deep bush and within high-rise cities, a major problem of GPS receivers of the past. The eTrex series now comes with easy geocaching so you can record information about your trip to download onto your computer later. They are all waterproof so the splash that destroyed your last GPS is no problem! The eTrex 10 is value for money. The major accuracy and speed updates, combined with an easy to see transflective, monochrome screen make for a great entry level GPS receiver. Record 50 routes and 1000 waypoints at a time on the in-built worldwide basemap and your adventures will never be the same!
