My recent social media post of the gear I was packing for a quick weekend in the royal National Park sparked some interest so I've thrown together this list of the equipment I took, which I managed to fit into a 45 litre pack.
This is the ‘dry’ list and doesn’t include food, water or gas. Total dry weight was about 9.5kg. It’s certainly possible to go lighter but I’m not really a madcap gram-shaver, and certainly not just for a casual overnighter.
Naturally, most of the stuff I use is available at Trek & Travel so I have provided links to the products in our web store. Some may be temporarily unavailable or older models, so the links may not be to the exact product.
